    We are currently seeking a qualified individual to continue the tradition of excellence at our two combo facilities and one stand-alone in Northern California. Locations consist of McDonald’s Chapel and Redding Memorial Park, Lawncrest Chapel and Memorial Park and Hoyt-Cole Chapel of the Flowers. Knowledge of all aspects of funeral & cemetery operations is essential, with an emphasis on sales and cemetery growth. The right candidate can expect to earn a generous base pay, and will maximize personal income by achieving sales objectives. Our facilities serve approximately 600 families and care for approximately 250 interments per year.


    The successful candidate will be expected to direct and lead sales and operations by achieving the following primary objectives:


    • To develop and maintain a positive sales culture/environment so that employees are motivated to strive for revenue growth.
    • To achieve the locations financial goals. This will be measured by hitting ICP targets and sales quota on a regular basis.
    • To identify, implement and continuously improve the internal business practices that impact financial performance, customer satisfaction, and employee morale.
    • To provide a premier level of client satisfaction that will satisfy the needs of every client family and which upholds the Dignity Promise. This will be measured by maintaining JDP Client satisfaction indexes at a minimum of 950 or in the funeral home and 925 in the cemetery.
    • To be involved in the community, promoting the location and making local contacts
    • To have excellent computer skills, including excel.
    • Insurance Agent License or ability to obtain is required
    • Cemetery License or ability to obtain is required
    • Funeral Directors License is preferred.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Previous Cemetery/Funeral Home Management experience is essential with at least 3 years of experience preferred
    • Must understand how to analyze financial reports to determine actions necessary to maintain and/or improve the location’s performance
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • A willingness to participate in community organizations
    • Superior management skills and desire to advance within the company
    • Basic computer and technology skills required
