    GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES


    The Director of Corporate Finance Compliance & Governance directs the implementation and monitoring of the Corporate Compliance Program. The Director oversees the development, implementation, and monitoring of company policies and procedures. Responsibility includes managing large/complex outsourcing engagements to execute strategy of operating models. The role will provide timely, detailed and accurate reporting to the governance committees on a quarterly basis, as well as other regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports to departmental and senior management.


    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES


    • Recognized as a leader, management consultant and internal controls expert; develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with finance, operations and information systems management, learning and understanding the business to better provide value-added services, help management achieve objectives
    • Leads teams in assisting external auditors with interim, year-end, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) assessments and supports various compliance initiatives
    • Acts as a primary internal control and policy/process advisor for the Company
    • Oversee the implementation of corrective actions and monitoring in response to identified SOX compliance issues and audits as well as conducting compliance education and training program
    • Ensure the development of systems, processes, policies and procedures are designed to mitigate risks to the internal control environment
    • Supports departmental efforts to employ and continually enhance its risk-based audit approach
    • Prepares for and manage the changeable complexities of the evolving threat landscape and by providing unparalleled resources and insights to investigate fraud, assist in risk management and mitigation, and identify and analyze vulnerabilities.
    • Leads and/or participates in investigation efforts, ensuring investigations are comprehensive, balanced, with objectively presented findings considering broader business implications.
    • Establishes programs and procedures to track, monitor, and report on company compliance with corporate F&A outsourced vendors, including the departmental Business Continuity Plan, Record Retention Policy, Foreign-Based Third-Party Service Provider Policy, Software Policy, and others
    • Ensures consistent delivery of global corporate financial practices and goals including drivers of process costs, ability to work with internal business owners and/or service providers to ensure effective cost solutions and agreed upon service level agreements
    • Identifies, mitigates, monitors, and manages vendor risk; and ensures regulatory and compliance requirements are met

    Requirements & Qualifications

    Education:


    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

     

    Certification/License:


    • CPA, CMA, CFE, or CIA required

     

    Experience:

     

    • 15 years experience in internal or external auditing with 3-5 years of experience in forensic accounting or fraud detection and investigations

    WORK CONDITIONS


    Work Environment
    • Work indoors during all seasons and weather conditions
    • Professional Dress is required except on company approved casual days


    Work Postures
    • Sitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per day


    Physical Demands
    • Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usage

    • Working beyond “standard” hours as the need arises
